Print on Demand (POD)

Delays in getting new materials printed can often lead to wasted printing and storage resources, and potentially lost sales.

For anyone dealing with documents that need to be updated – such as directories, software and training manuals, newsletters, booklets, marketing collateral and reports – print on demand (POD) technology is the perfect solution. Print on demand uses digital print technology, allowing you to make modifications to your documents in an instant. In addition it allows you to only order the exact printing quantity you need, when you need it and thereby eliminating warehousing costs and document obsolescence.

On-demand printing is performed using state-of-the-art four-colour digital printing presses, with most presses also having variable data printing capabilities. This equipment produces cost-effective, short-run, four-colour printing projects. It allows for complete personalisation of printed products and delivers quality comparable to offset printing. This is not to be confused with high-speed colour copiers that others may tout as ‘digital printing’. Digital presses like the ones used at Wickliffe, also support a wide range of paper types, sizes, weights and thicknesses – giving you complete flexibility.
